Volunteering

Leeds has a vibrant volunteering sector, with various roles available from supporting on fundraising events, to engaging with patients/service users in a health or social care setting, and working within charity shops. The length of a volunteering opportunity varies from role to role. Some roles are on-going on a weekly or monthly basis, or they can also take the form of a one-off opportunity. People volunteer for various reasons; this could be to gain experience, support a cause that is meaningful to them, or to contribute to their local community.
