People with no or low digital skills will benefit from this course. It will support the development of key digital skills such as using devices, creating and editing digital media, buying and transacting online, using technology to communicate and how to stay safe online. There are five categories of Essential Digital Skills for life and work: Using devices and handling information. Creating & Editing, Communicating, Transacting, Being safe online.
Course Length: 45 hours course with online assessment
When: Delivery of the training is inside school hours.
Where: Training can be from Deacon House in Seacroft, Enfield Centre Roundhay Road and Joseph Priestley Centre Beeston, Learners will be enrolled at a site which is convenient to them.
Eligibility: Free for adults who do not already have an IT level 1 or 2 qualification
