NCFE/Cache Level 3 certificate in preparing to work in Adult social care

Support and care for vulnerable adults with this programme. You will develop your knowledge of the duty of care and dementia. You will study an extra qualification in prevention and control of infection. In addition, you will gain practical experience through placement opportunities. Increase your awareness of dementia and its impact on patients, Handle sensitive information such as personal data and medical notes, Apply person-centred approaches to your care, Support individuals with learning disabilities.

To complete the course successfully you must be able and willing to independently complete a minimum number of social action hours and or work experience hours within a relevant health and social care setting.

Course length: 1 Year (academic year- 36 weeks)

Eligibility: Four GCSEs at grade 4 including English. Maths at grade 3 will be considered depending on full GCSE profile.
