#TeamLeeds Nursing Associate Apprenticeship

If you are an individual working within the Private, Independent, Voluntary Organisation sector and want to know more about the #TeamLeeds Nursing Associate Apprenticeship please read below.

When we refer to Private, Independent, Voluntary Organisations we are generally referring to all those organisations that are not large NHS providers.  In Leeds this diverse sector currently represents over 50% of our workforce, Leeds Health and Wellbeing Workforce Indicators 2025 – Leeds Health and Care Academy

What is the Team Leeds Nursing Associate Apprenticeship?

Building on the evaluation and insights of the city’s current collaborative occupational therapy apprenticeship approach, the Team Leeds Nursing Associate Apprenticeship aims to align to the wider city ambition to integrate health and social care and strengthen the Team Leeds One Workforce approach.

By being part of the programme, you will be able to strengthen your cross-organisational and cross-professional learning and opportunities.  To enable this learning, you will be part of a cohort of apprentices that are all from the private, independent, voluntary organisation sector.
