Improving working partnerships

The Academy will work with health and care organisations across the city to enhance collaboration when bidding for new and additional funding and, through this, to respond to the city’s strategic workforce priorities.

The Academy will convene a group across partner organisations of trade union and employer representatives that focuses on city workforce priorities and improving working lives of the workforce in Leeds.

Benefits

  • To support partner organisations to make the very best use of the ‘Leeds pound’
  • To bring together a single strategic workforce conversation with partner organisation

Some of the work taking place

We are working towards a process that works across the whole city for identifying and then bidding for any new or additional funding which could be brought into Leeds to help us deliver the priorities we have for our health and care workforce.

We are developing a ‘One Leeds workforce’ Continuous Professional Learning catalogue that will offer one single point of access to the many training courses offered by health and care organisations across the city. Creating a central resource will help improve access to learning and development for all organisations working in the sector including care home staff, primary care staff and Third Sector staff. So that staff can learn together as ‘One Leeds Workforce’ and all the spaces available are filled across partners.
