Employability programmes
There’s a variety of employability programmes that can help you get a role in Health & Care. They often involve free training and qualifications and personalised support around getting a job. Some example available in Leeds are:
Health T-Level
Health T-Level is a 2 year course that is equivalent to 3 A-Levels and involve both classroom based learning and placements in the Health & Care sector, where students develop in-depth theoretical understanding as well as practical, hands-on experience. Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships is a paid job which is combination of ‘on the job’ training and classroom based learning. Apprenticeships are a great way to enter the sector. You are given the support to learn the specialist skills required whilst already in the role. There are a range of different apprenticeships within Health and Care, at a variety of different levels.
