Career Compass is a digital careers navigation tool that engages the current and future workforce, by informing, inspiring and opening doors to diverse health and care careers. Since its launch in Leeds in September 2024, the platform has been viewed over 4,500 times with over 1600 registered users.
We are excited to announce that Career Compass is now available across all of West Yorkshire.
Users of Career Compass can complete a self-assessment careers quiz, resulting in a personalised selection of roles within the health and care sector that expand on their individual preferences and interests. The platform details over 120 roles and relevant local opportunities for education, volunteering, work experience and employment support opportunities across our county.
Co-designed by over 500 people and developed based on professional expertise across health and care, education partners insights, and the academic evidence base, the platform and its resources are constantly evolving in response to the needs of our workforce and partners across West Yorkshire.
