Academy Director Sheree Axon was delighted to lead a women’s network event in Leeds celebrating five years and 500 participants in the Springboard programme for women in non-managerial jobs.

Sheree spearheaded the introduction of the programme at NHS England alongside establishing the women’s network. She met with past participants for the celebration in March, hearing powerful stories of the impact the programme and network has had on their lives and work. Springboard Women’s Development Programme is an award winning personal development programme for women run across more than 40 countries worldwide. It is designed for women from all backgrounds, ages and stages of their lives. It allows women to enhance their own skills and abilities, challenge power and equality, while building confidence, assertiveness and a positive image.For employers, the programme supports plans that address issues of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
