Celebrating the second successful Health T Level cohort

In June, Health T Level students took to Wheetwood Hall in Leeds to celebrate completing their studiesThe joint event between Leeds City College and Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College marked the second successful cohort of graduating students.

The now annual event provides an opportunity to celebrate the student’s achievements alongside partner representatives and placement providers from across the Leeds health and care sector.

Awards and prizes were handed out to students from employers, recognising students for their outstanding care and dedication, as well as recognition from both colleges for their progress and commitment to the course. In addition to individual prizes, every student received a goodie bag with products donated by local businesses.

Every student has completed a total of 315 hours of industry placement alongside their academic studies with the following organisations; Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust and Leeds City Council. The students have all grown in confidence and matured throughout the course and were excited to celebrate their success and also look forward to their future.

The graduation is an important event for the Health T Level, as it not only showcases the hard work and dedication from the students, but also showcases the success of the collaboration between both colleges and organisations across Leeds.
